Job Description:

Responsibilities:
Collect, receive, label, and accurately store various patient specimens, ensuring proper handling and adherence to safety protocols.
Perform a wide range of laboratory tests using sophisticated equipment, following standardized procedures and maintaining quality control.
Analyze test results and prepare accurate reports for physicians.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work setting according to laboratory safety guidelines.
Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Stay up-to-date with advancements in laboratory testing procedures and technologies.
May participate in research activities (depending on the specific role).
Collaborate effectively with other laboratory staff, nurses, and doctors.

Qualifications:




Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) or Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Medical Laboratory Technology from a recognized institution.
Minimum3 to 6 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting (depending on the specific needs of the hospital).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
