Job Summary

The Production Trainee will support day-to-day manufacturing operations in a wooden reel manufacturing plant. The role involves learning production processes, assisting machine operators, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring safe and effective shop-floor operations.

Key Responsibilities
Assist in manufacturing of wooden reels, drums, and spools as per production plans
Learn and support operations of woodworking machines such as cutting, sawing, drilling, nailing, and assembly machines
Help in material handling of wood, flanges, barrels, and finished reels
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for production and safety
Perform basic quality checks on dimensions, finish, and assembly
Support preventive maintenance and cleaning of machines and tools
Maintain production records and daily activity logs
Ensure housekeeping and 5S practices on the shop floor




Adhere to safety guidelines, PPE usage, and plant rules
Coordinate with supervisors, quality, and maintenance teams
Willingness to learn recent processes and take up multitasking responsibilities

Skills & Competencies
Basic understanding of manufacturing or woodworking processes (preferred)
Ability to work on shop floor and handle physical tasks
Willingness to learn machines and production techniques
Basic knowledge of safety practices in manufacturing
Team player with a positive attitude
Good communication and discipline

Educational Qualification
Diploma in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering

Experience
Fresher or up to 1 year of experience in manufacturing/woodworking industry preferred

Job Types: Full time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
