NAbout the Role

nDesire Energy Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Project Manager / Senior Project Manager to lead the execution and overall management of a 3 MLD STP and approximately 64 KM Sewage Network Project at Bhinmal, Rajasthan.

NThe incumbent will be responsible for end-to-end project execution, including planning, civil and electromechanical works, sewage network construction, STP installation and commissioning, contractor management, quality control, safety, documentation, client coordination and timely project completion.

NKey Responsibilities

n1. Project Planning & Execution

N

- Develop and implement detailed project execution plans, schedules and milestones.
N
- Plan and monitor execution of the 3 MLD STP and 64 KM sewage network.
N
- Coordinate civil, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and pipeline/network activities.
N
- Ensure project execution is in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, BOQ and contractual requirements.
N
- Monitor daily, weekly and monthly project progress against planned targets.
N
- Identify project bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.

Sewage Network

Execution

N

n
- Supervise execution of approximately 64 KM of sewage collection/network system.
N
- Manage pipeline laying,excavation, bedding, jointing, testing, backfilling and reinstatement works.
N
- Coordinate constructionof manholes, chambers, pumping arrangements and associated structures.
N
- Ensure proper alignment, levels, gradients and hydraulic requirements are maintained.
N
- Monitor road-cutting, restoration and coordination with local authorities wherever required.
N
- Resolve site-level technical and execution issues related to underground utilities and network construction.
N

n3. STP Construction & Installation

N

n
- Lead constructionand execution of the 3 MLD Sewage Treatment Plant.
N
- Coordinate constructionof treatment units, tanks, inlet/outlet structures and associated civil works.
N
- Supervise installation of mechanical equipment such as pumps, screens, blowers, mixers, clarifiers and sludge-handling systems.
N
- Coordinate electrical, instrumentation, automation and control-system installation.
N
- Ensure equipment installation is carried out as per approved drawings and manufacturer's specifications.
N
- Coordinate testing, trial runs, commissioning and stabilization of the STP.
N

n4. Technical & Engineering Coordination

N

- Review drawings, BOQs, technical specifications and method statements.
N
- Coordinate with design/engineering teams for design clarifications and site modifications.
N
- Review shop drawings and ensure approved drawings are followed at site.
N




- Identify discrepancies between drawings and actual site conditions and coordinate timely resolution.
N
- Ensure proper interfacemanagement between civil, mechanical, electrical and instrumentation works.
N

n5. Contractor & Vendor Management

N

- Manage subcontractors, vendors and site execution teams.
N
- Allocate work fronts and monitor manpower, machinery and material deployment.
N
- Review contractor performance against agreed timelines and quality requirements.
N
- Conduct regular coordination meetings with contractors and consultants.
N
- Ensure timely procurement and availability of critical materials and equipment.
N
- Monitor subcontractor bills, measurements and work completion documentation.
N

n6. Client & Stakeholder Coordination

N

n
- Act as the key project-level interface with the client, consultant and local stakeholders.
N
- Attend project review meetings and present progress, challenges and action plans.
N
- Coordinate approvals, inspections, testing and work clearances.
N
- Manage communication with local authorities and other stakeholders as required.
N
- Maintain professional relationships with clients and ensure timely resolution of project issues.
N

n7. Quality Control

N

- Ensure construction and installation activities comply with approved QA/QC plans.
N
- Monitor quality of civil works, pipeline laying, concrete, reinforcement and associated structures.
N
- Ensure required material testing, pipeline testing and equipment testing are completed.
N
- Coordinate inspection requests, checklists, test reports and quality documentation.
N
- Ensure non-conformitiesare identified, documented and closed within defined timelines.
N

n8. Safety & Environmental Compliance

N

- Ensure strict implementation of project HSE policies at the site.
N
- Monitor excavation safety, confined-space work, lifting operations and work near existing utilities.
N
- Ensure PPE compliance and toolbox meetings for site personnel.
N
- Maintain protected working conditions across STP and sewage-network work fronts.
N
- Ensure compliance with applicable environmental and statutory requirements.
N

n9. Project Monitoring & Reporting

N

n
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly progress reports.
N
- Track project schedule,productivity, manpower, materials and equipment.
N
- Monitor project cost against approved budgets.
N
- Maintain DPRs, site records, measurement books and project documentation.
N
- Prepare MIS reports formanagement review.
N
- Highlight delays, risks, cost implications and recovery plans to senior management.
N

n10. Testing, Commissioning & Handover

N

- Coordinate pre-commissioning and commissioning activities of the STP.
N
- Ensure testing of sewage network sections and associated structures.
N
- Coordinate performance testing and trial operation of treatment systems.
N
- Ensure punch points anddefects are identified and closed.
N
- Prepare completion documentation, as-built drawings, O&M; manuals and handover documents.
N
- Support transition fromconstruction to O&M; operations.
N

nRequired Qualification

N

n
- B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering – Mandatory
N
- Post-graduation in Construction Management / Project Management will be an added advantage.
N

nRequired Experience

N

n
- 6–10 years of relevant experience in water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
N
- Strong experience in STP, sewerage network, sewage pipeline and wastewater treatment projects.
N
- Candidates with experience in execution of STP + sewerage network projects will be preferred.
N
- Experience in handling multidisciplinary project teams and contractors is essential.

nPreferred Candidate Profile

NThe ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Water & Wastewater Infrastructure, particularly in STP construction, sewerage network execution and multidisciplinary project management. Candidates who have independently managed large-scale sewage network and STP projects from execution through commissioning will be preferred.
