This role is Internship + PPO / Direct FTE based on experience

We’re looking for a Social Media Management Intern who can make our brand the go-to
inspirational platform for travel. This role owns the end-to-end social
presence—from conceptualising the content calendar to driving engagement and
conversions.
You’ll shape how people discover, desire, and decide their next holiday—with Pickyourtrail as the obvious route.
Key Responsibilities
Content Strategy & Calendar Ownership
Own and execute a monthly content calendar aligned to destinations,
seasonal demand, and business priorities (Bali, Europe, Thailand, etc.)
Build robust content pillars: travel inspiration, itineraries, planning hacks,
product proof, and “sooper hit holiday” moments
Tap into cultural trends, travel spikes, and moments in the consumer
decision journey.
Content Conceptualisation & Direction
Create high-performing social concepts (especially reels & carousels) that
stop the scroll
Write sharp,
insight-led copy tailored to each platform
Work closely with design and video teams to bring ideas to life
Ensure content balances top funnel aspiration with middle funnel and
boom funnel practicality
Platform & Handle Management
Manage day-to-day publishing across Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube
Maintain a distinct, consistent brand voice that feels travel-first and
relatable
Be on top of the algorithm working and evolving content formats for each
platform and prepare content accordingly
Engagement & Community Building
Actively manage comments and DMs to build a high-intent travel
community
Turn conversations into curiosity and eventually into bookings
Identify recurring questions, objections, and desires from users and feed
them back into content
Performance & Optimisation
Track key metrics: reach, engagement, saves, shares, CTR, and assisted
conversions
