Job Description - CAD Draughtsman

Position: CAD Draughtsman
Location: Chennai

Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD.
Develop fabrication and erection drawings as per project requirements.
Prepare General Arrangement (GA), shop, and detail drawings.
Coordinate with the design, production, and site teams to incorporate revisions.
Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and quality standards.
Maintain drawing records and revision history.
Assist in quantity take-offs and material estimation when required.

Requirements:
Diploma/Degree in Civil, Mechanical, or a related field (Freshers can apply).
Basic knowledge of AutoCAD 2D & 3D.
Basic understanding of engineering drawings.




Valuable communication and coordination skills.
Quick learner with attention to detail.
Knowledge of MS Office is an added advantage.

Preferred Skills:
Basic knowledge of Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB) is an advantage.
Ability to read structural and fabrication drawings.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
