A Day in the Life

Our Global Diabetes Capability Center in Pune is expanding to serve more people living with diabetes globally. Our state-of-the-art facility is dedicated to transforming diabetes management through creative solutions and Technologies that reduce the burden of living with diabetes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

A. Operational (Day-to-Day)
Process intercompany invoices and manage end-to-end IC accounting in SAP
Perform IC matching and reconciliation; investigate and resolve mismatches and disputes
Support netting and settlement processes and prepare IC balance confirmations
Post transfer-pricing and recharge transactions in accordance with company policies
Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end IC close activities and elimination readiness




Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and relevant accounting standards (US GAAP/IFRS)
Liaise with regional finance teams and business units to resolve IC discrepancies
Prepare and review intercompany reports, providing variance analysis and insights to management
Support internal and external audits with required documentation
Maintain and update process documentation and standard operating procedures

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
8 to 10 years of experience in Intercompany Accounting or General Accounting, preferably within a Shared Service Center workplace
Fluent in English (written and verbal) — essential for daily collaboration with European stakeholders
Robust working knowledge of SAP (FI module; Intercompany and/or Asset Accounting modules are a plus)
