Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Training and Placement Officer to join our university's placement team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in career services, training programs, and facilitating student placements with excellent communication and organizational skills. The position involves managing the end-to-end placement process for students, designing and executing training programs, and building solid industry relationships to ensure high placement rates and student success.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Placement Coordination:
Develop and implement placement strategies for students across various departments and courses.
Liaise with prospective employers and recruiters to organize campus recruitment drives.
Coordinate pre-placement activities such as resume building, mock interviews, and career counseling.
Ensure smooth execution of on-campus recruitment drives and interviews.
Maintain placement records and track student placement progress.

2 . Industry Networking and Relations:




Build and nurture robust relationships with key industry players, companies, and alumni to create placement opportunities.
Stay updated on industry trends and opportunities to inform training and placement strategies.
Promote the university brand and programs to industry partners and potential employers

3 .Training & Development:
Conduct training sessions, workshops, and seminars on employability skills, soft skills, and industry-specific knowledge.
Identify skill gaps in students and provide targeted training programs to enhance employability.
Monitor the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments to improve results.
Organize guest lectures, mock interview sessions, and group discussions with industry professionals.

4 .Student Support:
Provide individual career counseling and guidance to students, including job search strategies, career planning, and interview preparation.
