Job DescriptionArchitectural Designer

NResponsibilities:

- Work with design team members to assemble details, shop drawings and submittal packages for wall cladding systems
N
- Work with the project team on conceptual designs, presentations, design development, and production
N
- Proficient use of computer-based drawing software: Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, BIM
N
- Ability to perform drafting, layout work and straightforward calculations relative to design/construction drawings
N
- Prepare shop drawings from supplied architectural plans and sketches
N
- Communicate with the design team, sales team, architects, designers to gather proper technical data for each project.
N
- Provide timely updates for drawing completion and workload
N
- Perform component-basedmaterial takeoffs from prepared shop drawings
N

nSkills and Experience:

- Experience and proficiency in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD software is required
N
- In-depth familiarity with the architectural design process
N
- Exposure to drafting associated with wall cladding systems and/or building envelope products is preferred
N
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents from architectural drawings, structural drawings, and related construction specifications.
N
- Solid organization skills with self-driven personality
N
- Problem solving abilityand desire
N
- Interpersonal verbal and written skills
N
- Proficient in MS Officeprograms, with an emphasis on Excel and Word
