Job Purpose
To learn and develop sewing machine operating skills, garment construction methods, quality standards, and production procedures under the guidance of experienced operators and supervisors.
Key Responsibilities
Learn and operate sewing machines as per the assigned operation.
Follow instructions given by the Team Leader / Supervisor.
Understand garment construction, operation sequence, and sewing methods.
Maintain required quality standards and minimize defects.
Achieve the assigned production target after completing training.
Follow standard operating procedures (SOP) and work instructions.
Maintain proper machine handling and basic machine cleanliness.
Identify and report machine abnormalities to the concerned person.
Follow workplace safety rules and use PPE wherever required.
Maintain positive housekeeping and follow 5S practices.
Handle fabric and garment components carefully to avoid damage.




Attend all assigned training and skill-development programs.
Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
Cooperate with Team Leaders, Operators, Quality and Production teams.
