Role Title: Google Workspace Administrator Intern

Reports to: Lead Google Workspace Administrator / Operations Head
We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Google Workspace Administrator Intern. This 3-month paid program is designed to build foundational and advanced skills in cloud administration, user management, and API integrations. Under the guidance of certified Google Cloud professionals, you will learn how to manage complex corporate environments. Outstanding performance during this internship will culminate in a transition to a permanent, full-time position.
Key Responsibilities & Learning Path
During this 3-month internship, your duties and training curriculum will focus on:
1. Reseller Panel & Google Workspace Core Duties
- Learning & Training: Master the structure, navigation, and operations of the Google Partner/Reseller Partner Console.
- Account Provisioning: Assist in provisioning, setting up, and managing new Google Workspace domains and client environments.
- Profile Administration: Manage the lifecycle of user accounts, including account creation, organizational unit assignments, and updating contact/account details.
- Domain & Security Basics: Help configure essential domain settings, organizational units (OUs), and basic security settings.
2. API Dashboard Management
- Monitoring & Health: Learn to navigate the Google Cloud Console and manage the API Dashboard supporting Google Workspace integrations.
- Integration Support: Help configure and monitor APIs used for automation, email delivery services, and third-party workspace integrations.
- Troubleshooting: Monitor API usage quotas, identify integration errors, and assist in maintaining seamless data flows.
3. Bulk Data Operations & Records Management
- Bulk Operations: Execute bulk account creations, deletions,
and updates using tools like Google Admin Directory API, Google Sheets integrations, or command-line utilities (e.g., GAM).
- Directory Management: Maintain accurate domain directories, group memberships, and email aliases.
- Data Integrity & Archival: Assist with archiving policies, standardizing file and directory metadata, and keeping meticulous records of all administrative actions.
4. Mentorship & Professional Development
- Certified Training: Receive structured, hands-on training directly from certified Google Cloud and Google Workspace Deployment Specialists.
- Certification Path: Work toward achieving official Google Workspace Administrator certifications, with the company providing study resources and preparation assistance.
- Performance Reviews: Participate in monthly performance evaluations to align progress with the standards required for the permanent full-time transition.
Candidate Qualifications & Skills
Required
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree (or final-year student) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Applications (BCA/MCA), or a related technical discipline.
- Technical Aptitude: Strong familiarity with the Google Workspace ecosystem (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Gmail, Admin Console basics).
- Analytical Skills: Comfortable managing and structuring data within Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables, importing/exporting CSVs).
- Communication: Clear verbal and written English communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and document-keeping.
- Problem-Solving:
A proactive learner eager to troubleshoot technical problems systematically.
Preferred (Good to Have):
- Basic understanding of Cloud computing concepts (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS).
- Familiarity with APIs, JSON structures, or basic command-line operations.
- Prior experience or project work involving domain verification, DNS records (MX, TXT, SPF, DKIM), or system administration.
