Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Chinese Chef to prepare authentic Chinese cuisine while maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and presentation. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in wok cooking, menu planning, and kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of Chinese dishes such as fried rice, noodles, soups, starters, gravies, and stir-fry items.
Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation of all dishes.
Plan daily food preparation (mise en place) and manage the Chinese kitchen section.
Maintain food hygiene, cleanliness, and kitchen safety as per FSSAI standards.
Monitor inventory, control food costs, and minimize wastage.
Coordinate with the purchase team for ordering fresh ingredients.
Train and supervise Commis Chefs and kitchen assistants.
Ensure timely food preparation and service during busy hours.




Maintain kitchen equipment and report any maintenance issues.

Requirements
2–5 years of experience as a Chinese Chef in a hotel or restaurant.
Strong knowledge of Chinese cooking techniques, sauces, and ingredients.
Expertise in wok cooking and handling high-volume kitchen operations.
Valuable understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
Ability to work under pressure and in rotational shifts.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
Diploma or Certificate in Hotel Management/Culinary Arts.
Experience in multi-cuisine or hotel operations is an added advantage.

Salary

₹20,000 – ₹35,000 per month (Based on experience and skills)
