Job Purpose:
Responsible for admission, monitoring and discharge of the infants/babies.
Job Responsibilities:
Admission and discharge of the patients
Provide with intravenous therapies, food feedings and monitors the baby.
Make the baby feel comfortable.
Provide full detailed knowledge about the baby to mother.
Ensure every activity performed on ill infant is purely hygienic.
Works in shifts with other staff and wears all the gear that is needed.
Ensures the functioning of all devices is good.
Produce all the reports of ill infant to doctor which help him/her to monitor the baby condition.
Responsible for all documentation as per policy and all forms which are necessary for the patient
The nurses have to keep checking on the patients constantly during their duty as all the patients are in critical condition
Care of the dying and dead
Maintenance of therapeutic environment in the ward
BLS and NALS/PALS trained staff.
Candidate Requirements:
Good knowledge of written and spoken English; Excellent understanding of local languages.
Demonstrate an organized, effective and timely approach to all tasks.
Positive communication skills and the ability to in-still confidence in patients.
Ability to adhere to patient confidentiality.
Ability to act as part of a multi – cultural and multidisciplinary team.
Skilled and personal flexibility.
Ability to cope with stress.
