MIYO Dessert Bar is looking for a hands-on and detail-oriented Kitchen Assistant / Pastry Trainee to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
Handle the setup and refilling of the dessert counter.
Manage inventory and product rotation using FEFO.
Receive daily dispatches and ensure proper storage of all products.
Handle and monitor gelato machines, including texture and quality checks.
Ensure all products are maintained at the right temperature, texture and quality.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dessert counter and work areas.
Monitor stock levels and minimise wastage.
Follow all food safety, hygiene and MIYO quality standards.

Who We're Looking For
Prior kitchen, bakery or pastry experience is preferred but not mandatory.
Passionate about food and willing to learn.
Detail-oriented, organised and hands-on.
Able to work in a fast-paced workplace.
Solid focus on cleanliness and product quality.
