Job Description – Polish QC

Position: Polish QC / Jewellery Quality Control Executive
Location: SEEPZ, Mumbai
Industry: Jewellery Manufacturing
Experience: 1–3 Years

Job Responsibilities
Inspect finished jewellery pieces for polishing quality, finishing, and overall appearance.
Check jewellery for scratches, dents, uneven polishing, rough edges, and surface defects.
Ensure the required shine, smoothness, and finishing standards are maintained.
Identify and report polishing defects and coordinate with the polishing/production team for corrections.
Conduct final quality checks before jewellery is moved to the next process or dispatch.
Follow company quality standards and production specifications.
Maintain records of rejected/reworked pieces and report recurring quality issues.
Ensure jewellery is handled carefully during the QC process to avoid damage or loss.




Coordinate with production and other QC teams to maintain consistent quality.

Required Skills
Valuable knowledge of jewellery polishing and finishing processes.
Robust attention to detail and ability to identify minor defects.
Knowledge of different jewellery finishes and surface quality.
Valuable communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work under production timelines.
Experience in gold/diamond jewellery manufacturing will be preferred.

Qualification
10th/12th pass or equivalent.
Relevant jewellery industry experience preferred.

Salary

₹30,000 – ₹32,000 per month, depending on experience and skills.
