Job Description – Gym Central Head

Organization: Chandigarh University, Mohali, Punjab

Key Responsibilities
Manage the overall operations and administration of the central gym facility.
Supervise gym trainers, fitness executives, support staff, and other gym personnel.
Develop and implement fitness programs and training schedules for students, faculty, and staff.
Ensure proper utilization, maintenance, and cleanliness of gym equipment and facilities.
Monitor gym safety standards, hygiene, and compliance with university policies.
Prepare staff duty rosters, schedules, and daily operational plans.
Train, guide, and evaluate gym staff to maintain high service standards.




Monitor member/student feedback and resolve fitness-related concerns promptly.
Required Qualifications
Any Bachelor's degree
Certification in fitness training, gym management, or sports management will be an advantage.
5–9 years of relevant experience in gym, fitness centre, sports facility, or institutional fitness management.
Experience in managing a team of trainers and fitness staff.
Solid knowledge of gym equipment, fitness programs, health & safety practices, and facility management.

Pay: ₹35,000.10 - ₹60,000.39 per month
