Job Responsibilities:
Monitor DRI plant operations from the control room.
Operate and monitor DCS/PLC system and process parameters.
Monitor mechanical equipment such as rotary kiln, fans, conveyors, feeders, blowers and coolers.
Maintain required temperature, pressure, flow and other process parameters.
Coordinate with field operators and mechanical maintenance team.
Identify equipment/process abnormalities and take timely corrective action.
Maintain shift logbooks, production records and equipment status.
Support secure plant start-up, shutdown and emergency operations.
Follow SOP, safety procedures and housekeeping standards.

Requirements:
ITI / Diploma / B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
2–8 years of experience in DRI/Sponge Iron/Steel Plant.
Experience in DRI mechanical operations and control room operation preferred.
Knowledge of rotary kiln and related mechanical equipment.
Willing to work in rotational shifts.
