Role Description This is a full time Furniture Designer role based in Jodhpur, structured as a hybrid position that allows some work-from-home flexibility.

The Furniture

Designer will conceptualize and develop new furniture collections, create detailed design drawings and specifications, and collaborate with engineers and production teams to ensure designs are feasible and cost-effective. Daily responsibilities include refining prototypes, selecting materials and finishes, coordinating with carpentry teams, and aligning designs with brand aesthetics and market trends.



The role also involves working closely with sales and merchandising teams to respond to B2B client requirements and adapting designs for different international markets.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated skills in Furniture Design and Product Design, with the ability to create functional, aesthetically appealing, and manufacturable pieces.
- Knowledge of Furniture construction and Carpentry practices to collaborate effectively with workshop and production teams.
- Understanding of Interior Design principles to ensure furniture integrates well into diverse environments and client use cases.
- Proficiency in design tools (e.g., CAD software, 3D modeling) and familiarity with materials, finishes, and industrial production processes.
- Strong attention to detail, creativity, and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to balance design quality and production efficiency.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional work with design, engineering, sales, and operations teams.
- Relevant education in Furniture Design, Product Design, Interior Design, Industrial Design, or a related field; practical workshop or studio experience is an advantage.
- Ability to work in a hybrid setup from Jodhpur, manage deadlines, and adapt designs for international B2B clients and varying market standards.
