Pre-Press Designer – Job Description

Position: Pre-Press Designer
Experience: 2 to 5 Years
Industry: Versatile Packaging / Digital Printing
Location: Rajkot, Gujarat

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and finalize artwork files for printing production.
Check artwork dimensions, color accuracy, and print specifications.
Create print-ready files as per customer requirements.
Handle color separation, trapping, and imposition processes.
Coordinate with the Sales, Production, and Printing departments.
Ensure artwork compliance with packaging and printing standards.
Modify and correct existing designs as required.
Maintain artwork records and customer design databases.
Identify and resolve pre-press issues before printing.
Support digital, rotogravure, and flexographic printing requirements.

Required Skills:
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW,



and Acrobat PDF.
Knowledge of flexible packaging artwork development.
Understanding of CMYK, Pantone colors, color management, and printing processes.
Experience in barcode, QR code, and packaging design handling.
Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
Positive communication and teamwork abilities.

Qualification:
Diploma/Degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Printing Technology, or related field.

Preferred Candidate:
Experience in Versatile Packaging, Pouch, Labels, or Printing Industry.
Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects efficiently.

Pay: ₹9,146.77 - ₹46,329.32 per month
