Position: Retail Store In-charge
Department: Retail Operations
Reports To: Store Manager / Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities:
Manage the complete day-to-day operations of the retail store.
Supervise and allocate duties to store staff.
Ensure the store is clean, organized, and properly maintained.
Handle opening and closing of the store.
Monitor daily sales, billing, cash, UPI and other payment collections.
Maintain accurate stock levels and conduct regular stock checks.
Monitor inward and outward movement of products.
Coordinate with the purchase/warehouse team for stock replenishment.
Check product quality, expiry dates, MRP and pricing.
Ensure proper product display, shelf arrangement and product labeling.
Minimize stock shortages, damages, expiry and wastage.
Handle customer enquiries, complaints and service issues.
Ensure proper implementation of offers, promotions and pricing.
Prepare daily sales and operational reports.
Monitor staff attendance, punctuality and performance.
Train current employees on store procedures and customer handling.




Coordinate with management regarding operational issues and requirements.
Ensure company policies and SOPs are followed.
Support achievement of daily and monthly sales targets.

Experience

1–3 years of experience in retail, supermarket, FMCG, food & beverage, bakery, grocery or similar operations preferred.
