Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily work activities at the plant/site.
Allocate work to welders, fitters, fabricators, helpers, riggers and other workers.
Ensure work is completed according to drawings and instructions from the Site Engineer.
Supervise steel cutting, fitting, welding, drilling, grinding and assembly.
Monitor structural steel erection and installation activities.
Check dimensions, levels, alignment and positioning of fabricated structures.
Ensure availability of required materials, tools, tackles and equipment.
Coordinate with crane operators, riggers and fabrication teams during erection activities.
Monitor worker productivity and maintain proper manpower utilization.
Maintain daily attendance and manpower deployment records.
Report daily progress, material requirements and site problems to the Site Engineer.
Ensure workers use appropriate PPE such as helmets, safety shoes, gloves, goggles and safety harnesses.
Follow hot-work, work-at-height,



lifting and other applicable safety procedures.
Immediately report unsafe conditions, accidents and equipment problems.
Maintain proper housekeeping at the work location.
Check the quality of fabrication and erection work before inspection.
Coordinate with contractors and workers to achieve daily and weekly targets.
Minimize material wastage and ensure proper handling of steel materials.
Assist the Site Engineer during inspection, measurement and project handover.
Ensure tools, welding machines, gas cutting equipment and other equipment are properly maintained and used safely.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
