Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and responsible Phlebotomist to collect blood and other specimens from patients safely and efficiently while ensuring proper identification, labeling, handling, and transportation of samples.
Key Responsibilities:
Collect blood samples from patients using proper phlebotomy techniques.
Ensure correct patient identification and proper sample labeling.
Handle, store, and transport specimens according to laboratory protocols.
Maintain proper hygiene, infection-control, and safety procedures.
Provide a comfortable and qualified experience for patients.
Maintain accurate records of collected samples.
Handle home sample collections when required.
Travel to different branches for sample collection as needed.
Coordinate with the laboratory team regarding sample collection and processing.
Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of phlebotomy equipment.
Requirements:
DMLT / Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology or relevant qualification.
Prior experience in phlebotomy is preferred; freshers may also apply.
Positive communication and patient-handling skills
Candidates based in Calicut are preferred.
