Position Profile

Weaver is looking for talented Tax professionals at the Supervisor level candidate to join our growing firm! The Candidate should be a team player who exhibits initiative, accepts responsibility, communicates effectively, and manages multiple concurrent assignments of varying sizes and complexity. As this role is focused, the candidate should have a strong work ethic and be a self-starter, and understand that the busy season for work often differs from a typical tax busy season.

To be successful in this role, the following qualifications are required:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting
4 or 4+ years of public accounting experience
Proficient in CCH Axcess, Prosystem Fx Engagement, Gofile room
Experience in Preparing/ Reviewing– 1040,1065(FLP’s),1041 tax returns
Able to work on complex tax returns
Team orientation and robust interpersonal skills
Independent training and self-development,



including researching and self-involving based on available resources
Fluent writing and verbal skills in English, including grammatical accuracy
Willing to work in office with team members / Supervisors or managers
Willing to train the juniors in the team
Problem solving skills and able to work independently successfully
Ability to grasp current concepts
Able to work flexible schedule when key client or team meetings are needed
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint)

Additionally, the following qualifications are preferred:
Master’s degree in Accounting, or related field is preferred
EA, CPA, CPA candidate, CA or CA candidate
