About the Role

We are looking for a highly driven Business Development Manager (BDM) with hands-on

experience in SaaS sales, specifically GST Billing / POS software, catering to Retail, F&B;, and

FMCG businesses.

This is an on-field role where the candidate will manage the complete sales cycle—from

prospecting and product demonstrations to negotiations and deal closure—while building strong

relationships with business owners and key decision-makers.

Key Responsibilities
Own and manage the complete sales lifecycle: prospecting, pitching, negotiation and closure.
Identify and approach potential customers in Retail, F&B; and FMCG sectors.
Conduct in-person meetings, demos and product presentations.
Drive new customer acquisition through field visits and local market coverage.
Recommend suitable SaaS solutions based on customer needs.
Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline and forecasting accuracy.
Achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets.
Coordinate with Product, Support and Onboarding teams.
Stay updated on GST compliance,



billing trends and competitor offerings.
Maintain CRM hygiene with accurate and timely updates.

Key Requirements
Minimum 3+ years of SaaS sales experience (GST Billing/POS preferred).
Proven experience with Retail, F&B; or FMCG customers.
Solid understanding of field sales and local market dynamics.
Demonstrated ability to independently close deals.
Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated, target-driven and Go-To-Market (GTM) ready mindset.
Ability to perform in high-pressure, quick-paced environments.
Familiarity with CRM tools and sales tracking systems.

Preferred Skills
Experience selling subscription-based SaaS products.
Knowledge of GST regulations and billing workflows.
Existing network in local merchant/business communities.
Experience in channel/partner sales is an added advantage.

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
