About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and target-oriented Business Development Executive (BDE) with 1–2 years of experience in Upwork bidding and IT/software sales. The candidate will be responsible for generating leads, submitting winning proposals, communicating with international clients, and converting opportunities into successful projects.

Key Responsibilities
Search and identify relevant IT/software projects on Upwork.
Analyze requirements and submit customized, persuasive proposals.
Manage Upwork Connects and maintain a strong bidding strategy.
Communicate with international clients, understand requirements, and pitch suitable services.
Handle client queries, negotiations, follow-ups, and project discussions.
Convert leads into projects and build long-term client relationships.
Coordinate with technical teams for project understanding, proposals, and estimates.
Maintain the sales pipeline and track leads, proposals, interviews, and conversions.




Identify opportunities for repeat business, upselling, and long-term partnerships.
Achieve monthly targets for leads, projects, and revenue.

Requirements
1–2 years of experience in Upwork Bidding, Business Development, IT Sales, or Software Sales.
Hands-on experience with Upwork bidding, Connects, and proposal writing.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Strong negotiation, convincing, follow-up, and client-handling skills.
Basic understanding of IT/software services such as Web, Mobile, SaaS, WordPress, Shopify, AI/ML, and Custom Software Development.
Experience with international clients is preferred.
Self-motivated, confident, and target-oriented.
Willing to work from office in Mohali during day shift.
