Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Automotive Embedded/ECU Test Engineer with 6+ years of relevant experience to provide part-time job support for automotive embedded testing and validation activities.
The primary responsibility will be to validate the MCU's 5V reference voltage (VREF) by performing over-voltage and under-voltage fault injection, monitoring Power-Valuable (PG) status and ADC readings, and verifying accurate fault detection, diagnostics, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical job support for Automotive Embedded/ECU testing activities.
- Validate the MCU 5V reference voltage (VREF) under normal and fault conditions.
- Design and execute test cases for voltage monitoring and fault detection.
- Perform over-voltage and under-voltage fault injection.
- Monitor and validate Power-Good (PG) status during different voltage conditions.
- Capture and analyze ADC readings and compare them against expected values.
- Verify accurate detection of voltage-related faults.
- Validate ECU diagnostic behavior, fault codes, and reporting.
- Perform positive, negative, boundary, and fault-condition testing.
- Analyze test failures and perform root-cause analysis.
- Support debugging of ECU hardware/software issues.
- Review requirements, test specifications, and validation documents.
- Execute regression testing after software/firmware changes.
- Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support as part of the job-support engagement.
Required Skills
- 6+ years of Automotive Embedded / ECU Testing experience – Mandatory
- Strong hands-on experience in ECU validation and testing.
- Experience with MCU-based embedded systems.
- Hands-on experience with VREF / voltage reference validation.
- Experience with over-voltage and under-voltage fault injection.
- Strong understanding of ADC readings and validation.
- Experience monitoring and validating Power-Good (PG) signals/status.
- Experience with embedded fault detection and diagnostics.
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
- Ability to analyze test results and identify root causes.
- Good understanding of automotive ECU architecture and embedded systems.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with CAN / CAN FD.
- Knowledge of UDS diagnostics and DTCs.
- Experience with CANoe / CANalyzer or similar automotive testing tools.
- Experience with HIL testing.
- Knowledge of embedded C/C++.
- Experience using oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and other electronic test equipment.
- Knowledge of Python or other scripting languages for test automation.
- Understanding of ISO 26262 / automotive functional safety is a plus.

- ₹35,000 per month
- Flexible working hours can be discussed based on project requirements.
- Candidate must be available consistently during the agreed working schedule.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 per month
