Job Title: General Manager – Service

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead the Service function for a leading automobile dealership. The role involves driving profitability, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence across workshops and service teams.

Desired Profile
Minimum 15 years of experience in Vehicle Service, with at least 3 years in a leadership role (team leader/department head) at a reputed dealership.
BE/B.Tech/AMIE/Diploma in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering.
Age below 50 years preferred.
Solid ability to build and lead high‑performing teams.
Excellent business networking, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
Familiarity with contemporary business practices, digital orientation, and commercial segment vehicles (mandatory).
Customer‑centric mindset with quality orientation.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute action plans to achieve regional financial targets.
Monitor workshop activities, vehicle flow, and turnaround time; implement debottlenecking measures.
Drive customer satisfaction and retention programs to enhance Customer Delight Index.
Lead implementation of recent initiatives to improve operations and customer experience.




Provide guidance to service teams for effective strategy execution and performance.
Manage overall P&L; for the region and liaise with OEM service officials.
Conduct service process audits and initiate improvements.
Authorize disposal of scrap, used oil, and hazardous waste as per guidelines.
Monitor creditors and debtors within approved limits.
Oversee deployment and utilization of assets.
