About the Role

Petlicks is looking for a creative, driven Digital Marketing Intern - Content & Social Media who wants to take ownership of our content—from coming up with ideas to creating, editing, posting, and analyzing performance.

This is a hands-on role. You won't just be making content calendars or assisting someone else. You'll get the prospect to build and execute Petlicks' content strategy and play an important role in growing our online presence.

The internship is intended to lead to a full-time Content & Social Media role at ₹25,000/month for candidates who demonstrate robust performance, creativity, ownership, and consistency.

What You'll Work On

Content Strategy

- Help develop Petlicks' content strategy.
- Plan weekly and monthly content calendars.
- Research trends, competitors, audiences, and content opportunities.
- Develop content pillars and recurring content series.
- Understand what content performs and continuously improve the strategy.

Content Creation

- Brainstorm content ideas, hooks, scripts, captions, and concepts.
- Create content for Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts, and other relevant platforms.
- Create educational, entertaining, relatable, promotional, and brand-building content.
- Develop both brand-led and personal-brand-style content.
- Turn everyday Petlicks activities, products, stories, and insights into content.





Video & Content Editing

- Shoot and/or coordinate short-form video content.
- Edit Reels, Shorts, and social media videos.
- Add captions, text, music, transitions, B-roll, etc.
- Repurpose existing content into different formats.
- Maintain a consistent visual and content style.

Publishing & Social Media Management

- Schedule and publish content.
- Write captions, headlines, hooks, and CTAs.
- Maintain consistency across platforms.
- Engage with comments and relevant conversations.
- Stay updated with current social media trends and formats.

Analytics & Improvement

- Track views, reach, engagement, saves, shares, followers, and other relevant metrics.
- Identify what topics and formats are working.
- Experiment with new content ideas.
- Use data to improve future content.

What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is:
- Creative and naturally curious about content.
- Comfortable with social media and understands what makes content engaging.
- Good at storytelling and writing.
- Interested in short-form video.
- Comfortable learning video editing tools such as CapCut, Premiere Pro, or similar.
- Able to turn an idea into an actual piece of content.
- Willing to experiment,



test, fail, learn, and try again.
- Proactive and able to work independently.
- Obsessed with understanding why some content works and other content doesn't.

You don't need to be an expert. We care more about creativity, learning ability, initiative, and execution. Internship → Full-Time The initial role will be a paid internship at ₹10,000/month.

Based on performance during the internship, there will be an opportunity to transition into a full-time role at ₹25,000/month.
