Role Description This is a full-time, in office role for a Design Engineer – Three Phase Induction Motor located in the Pune Division. The role involves designing and developing three phase induction motors for pump and fluid management applications, ensuring performance, efficiency, and reliability standards are met.

The Design

Engineer will create and review detailed drawings, perform calculations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in mechanical, electrical,



and manufacturing engineering. Day-to-day responsibilities include validating designs through simulations and tests, supporting prototype development, preparing technical documentation, and assisting in design improvements based on feedback from production and field service. The role also requires adherence to applicable standards and internal quality processes while contributing to continuous product and process innovation.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Electrical Engineering relevant to rotating machinery and three phase induction motors.
- Proficiency in Design Engineering and Product Design for industrial equipment, including motor components and assemblies.
- Hands-on experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for 2D drafting and 3D modeling of mechanical and electro-mechanical systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Knowledge of motor design principles, materials, manufacturing processes, and industry standards for pumps and motors.
- Ability to work on-site in cross-functional teams, with strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience in fluid machinery, pump systems, or related heavy engineering sectors is an advantage.
- Familiarity with simulation tools, tolerance analysis, and reliability or performance testing is beneficial.
