Domain knowledge
Hands on experience in Catia V5 (Part/surface/drawing).
Sound knowledge in packaging study and master section creation.
Design and development of Interior Trims from concept to final design as per the design requirements within the timeline.
Participating in design review meetings and provide solutions.
Knowledge in benchmarking and cost reduction.
Identification and resolution of design related issues during development till release.
Extensive experience on commodities development (for e.g. Interior components like IP&CNSL;, Air vents, Ducts, Pillar Trims, Door Trims) current part design, on-going product development changes; digital pre-assembly
Extensive experience in developing CAD designs in CATIA, based on Engineering direction for commodities in above mentioned PMTs
Facilitating Engineering review of the CAD using available team-oriented tools such as Web-Ex, IM, emails etc.
Understanding the geometric requirements within the context of the vehicle as defined by engineering requirements.
