nRole Overview
nWe are looking for a Java Developer with strong hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot and distributed applications to join the Middle Office TC & Vista Infrastructure squad.
nThe candidate will work on large-scale distributed systems, application modernization and technical enhancements, with a focus on reliability, scalability, performance and observability.
nKey Responsibilities

Develop and maintain large-scale distributed, multi-application systems.n
Work on modernization initiatives using Java 21, Spring Boot 3.3+, Gradle, MongoDB and Kafka.n
Design, develop and test functional and non-functional enhancements.n
Troubleshoot complex issues involving inter-process communication, threading, memory management, messaging, databases,



caching and data enrichment.n
Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical design discussions.n
Collaborate with global and cross-functional teams.n
Contribute to Agile design discussions and department-level modernization initiatives.n
Ensure applications meet required performance, uptime, scalability and security standards.n
Work with evolving business and regulatory requirements.n
Contribute to re-engineering and modernization of large-scale applications.n

nMandatory Requirements
n
n
5–7 years of relevant software development experience.n
Robust hands-on Java development experience.n
Robust experience with Spring / Spring Boot.n
Good experience with Gradle or equivalent build tools.n
Experience with at least one of DB2, Sybase or MongoDB.n
Solid SQL knowledge.n
Hands-on experience with Kafka and/or IBM MQ.n
Experience working on Linux/Unix environm
