About the Role

Roots Foundation is looking for young, creative and social-first Content Creator Interns who are passionate about creating engaging digital content.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable with Instagram, YouTube and Facebook, have an eye for current trends, and be able to turn real stories from the field into engaging short-form content.

You will work closely with field teams and create authentic content featuring farmers, retailers, crops, field activities and agricultural initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Create engaging, mobile-first Reels, YouTube Shorts and social media content.
- Shoot and edit approximately 12–15 short-form videos/reels per month.
- Create UGC content including farmer testimonials, retailer stories, crop/field stories, product demonstrations and expert content.
- Identify interesting stories and content opportunities from field activities.
- Maintain a content calendar and ensure a regular flow of fresh field content.
- Capture candid photographs, videos and stories from the field.
- Travel across assigned territories with the field team as required.
- Interact comfortably with farmers, retailers and other field stakeholders.
- Stay updated with the latest social media trends, formats and content styles.

Who Can Apply?

We are looking for candidates who are:

- Students pursuing courses in Agriculture, Mass Communication, Videography, Filmmaking, Photography, Digital Media, Content Creation, Multimedia or related fields.




- Comfortable using basic mobile editing and video-shooting tools.
- Passionate about content creation and social media.
- Creative, curious, confident and comfortable appearing on camera.
- Comfortable travelling to field locations and interacting with farmers and retailers.
- Knowledge or educational background in Agriculture/Agri-related subjects will be an added advantage.

Compensation & Travel

- Internship Stipend: ₹10,000 per month
- Field Travel Reimbursement: Up to ₹5,000 per month towards approved field travel and related expenses, as per organisation policy.
- Travel across the assigned territory will be an integral part of the role.
