Role Description The Civil Quantity Surveyor will work on-site in Coimbatore in a full-time capacity, supporting architectural and interior projects with accurate cost and quantity assessments. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and reviewing Bills of Quantities (BOQ), measuring and estimating materials, labor, and services, and coordinating with project managers, architects, and contractors for cost-related information. The role involves monitoring project costs, tracking variations, updating cost plans, and maintaining detailed cost reports throughout the project lifecycle.

The Civil Quantity

Surveyor will also assist in tender preparation,



evaluate contractor quotations, and help ensure projects are delivered within budget while meeting quality and timeline requirements.

Qualifications

- Strong expertise in BOQ preparation and quantity take-offs, with the ability to interpret architectural and structural drawings accurately.
- Skills in Cost Planning and Cost Management to develop budgets, forecasts, and cost estimates for civil and interior works.
- Experience in Cost Control and Cost Reporting to monitor expenditures, manage variations, and provide explicit, timely financial updates.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
- Proficiency with MS Excel and quantity surveying or estimation software; familiarity with CAD tools is an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary design and site teams.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills for coordinating with contractors, suppliers, and clients.
- Prior experience in architectural, interior, or building projects in a similar role is preferred.
