Role & responsibilities
Daily Operations & Team Coordination
Create, manage, and communicate daily and weekly shift schedules for the 1015 farm workers.
Monitor daily attendance, handle leave requests, and manage basic payroll processing or hours tracking.
Act as the primary point of contact for staff, resolving workplace issues and fostering a team-oriented team workplace.
Lean Procurement & Inventory Management
Source and purchase all farm inputs (nutrients, seeds, growth media, packaging) and general office supplies.
Maintain an accurate inventory system to prevent stockouts of critical high-tech components like sensors, LEDs, or pump filters.
Manage relationships with local suppliers to secure reliable delivery times and favorable pricing.
Facility & Biosecurity Upkeep
Coordinate routine maintenance for climate control (HVAC), plumbing, and indoor automation systems.
Enforce strict indoor biosecurity and hygiene rules (e.g., gowning up, sanitation protocols) among the 1015 workers to prevent crop contamination.
Ensure the facility is clean, organized, protected,



and meets standard workplace hazard requirements.
Compliance, Food Safety & Documentation
Maintain records required for local business licenses, zoning, and health inspections.
Oversee food safety logs, traceability records, and packaging standards required for selling to local grocery stores or restaurants.
Track baseline utility data (water and electricity usage) to help the owner monitor operational costs.
Order Fulfillment & Local Logistics
Assist in organizing daily harvest dispatches based on client order volumes.
Coordinate local delivery routes or courier pickups to ensure fresh produce reaches customers without cold-chain delays.

Preferred candidate profile Should have knowledge and work experience of working in farms

Should have work experience handling workers

Preference will be given to candidate having knowledge of hydroponics, aeroponics, temperature control field management, agri marketing and sales, mushroom farming and others.
