Roles and Responsibilities
Perform pulmonary function tests such as spirometry, peak flow meter testing, and arterial blood gas sampling.
Conduct respiratory therapy treatments including oxygen therapy, nebulization, chest physical therapy, and aerosolized medication delivery.
Monitor patients' vital signs and report changes to physicians; operate equipment such as ventilators and respiratory machines safely.
Assist physicians during bronchodilator treatments by providing inhaled medications through various devices.
Maintain accurate records of patient data and treatment plans.
