Job Purpose

Lead synthesis R&D; activities for recent product and process development, support scale-up operations, and drive innovation through advanced technologies, IP generation, safety, sustainability, and team development.

Key Responsibilities
Product & Process Development
Lead recent product and process development projects.
Conduct literature searches and feasibility studies.
Drive technology adoption and prioritize R&D; projects.
Monitor development performance and project timelines.
Coordinate with customers, universities, technical institutes, and internal teams.
Support customer complaint investigations and technical solutions.
Process Development & Scale-Up
Support scale-up of products from lab to manufacturing.
Prepare process documentation and SOPs.
Assist in process monitoring, optimization, and safety training.
Ensure smooth technology transfer to production.
Intellectual Property (IP) Development
Identify opportunities for patents and IP creation.
Build and maintain IP databases.
Review developments to avoid IP infringements.
Support innovation in specialty products and processes.
Planning, Budgeting & Cost Control
Manage R&D; laboratory budgets and expenditures.
Monitor inventory of specialty materials.




Identify cost-saving and improvement prospects.
Support implementation of productivity initiatives.
Systems & Sustainability
Ensure compliance with IMS, OpEx, ISO, and Sustainability systems.
Support laboratory digitization and data integrity initiatives.
Drive waste reduction and continuous improvement programs.
Maintain audit readiness and compliance.
Safety, Health & Environment (SHE)
Ensure compliance with ABG, Dupont, and statutory SHE requirements.
Develop safe and sustainable processes.
Conduct safety awareness and compliance programs.
Adhere to Factories Act and environmental regulations.
People Development
Lead and develop a high-performing R&D; team.
Define KRAs and training requirements.
Identify competency gaps and development opportunities.
Drive employee engagement, succession planning, and recognition programs.
