nAbout the Role:
nLead a small engineering team building high-volume, data-intensive systems that transform complex enterprise data into accurate, machine-readable outputs. You'll work closely with the founder on architecture and own system reliability, scalability, and correctness.
nWhat Makes This Role Different:
nThis is not a pure people-management role. You'll remain deeply hands-on with architecture, production systems, and technical decisions. You'll also be expected to operate effectively in ambiguity and challenge existing architectural decisions when needed.
nWhat You'll Own:

Drive architecture across TypeScript/NestJS workflows and Python data/AI servicesn
Build reliable long-running workflows with durable execution, retries, and idempotencyn
Design scalable data processing using Polars, DuckDB, Parquet, and streamingn
Build evaluation and regression frameworks to measure AI/system accuracyn




Own production systems running in customer cloud environmentsn
Lead hiring, code reviews, technical decisions, and mentor engineersn
Maintain clean boundaries between workflow orchestration, AI/agent execution, and bulk data processingn

nWhat We're Looking For:

5–7 years building backend, distributed, or data-intensive systemsn
Solid expertise in Python or TypeScript, with working proficiency in the othern
Experience taking systems from design → production → ongoing ownershipn
Robust understanding of distributed systems, retries, idempotency, failures, and long-running workflowsn
Hands-on experience with high-volume data processingn
Engineering leadership experience — mentoring, reviewing, and raising technical standardsn
Solid focus on correctness, observability, and production reliabilityn
