: SEO Assistant Manager

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced and strategic SEO Assistant Manager to lead enterprise SEO accounts, drive organic growth, and build long-term client relationships. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing SEO/GEO strategies, managing multiple client accounts, mentoring teams, ensuring successful project delivery, and identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts for Australian Clients.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage multiple SEO accounts across industries, with a focus on B2B clients.
Act as a strategic partner to clients by developing and executing data-driven SEO strategies.
Own end-to-end account delivery, ensuring quality, timelines, and client satisfaction.
Plan Strategies which align with AEO/GEO trends.
Mentor and guide Interns, Executives, SEO Managers and Assistant Managers to drive team performance.
Conduct client meetings, strategy reviews, and performance presentations.
Identify upselling and cross-selling prospects to grow existing accounts.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Content, Development, Analytics,



and Performance Marketing to deliver integrated solutions.
Monitor SEO performance, analyze trends, and recommend optimization strategies.
Stay updated with search engine algorithm changes and industry best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, MBA, Computer Science, or a related field.
3–4 years of hands-on experience in SEO, preferably within a digital marketing agency.
Proven experience managing enterprise or large-scale client accounts and handling multiple stakeholders.
Strong understanding of Technical SEO, On-page SEO, Content Strategy, Performance Analytics, and SEO best practices.
Hands-on experience with Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Search Console, Looker Studio, Ahrefs, and SEMrush.
Valuable understanding of Performance Marketing, CRO, Web Analytics, Martech ecosystems, YouTube SEO, ASO, and Marketplace SEO.
Demonstrated experience in mentoring teams and managing client relationships.
Excellent communication, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a quick-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
