Software Developer

Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance .NET applications.
Develop applications using C#, .NET Framework/.NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, and ASP.NET Core.
Develop and maintain REST APIs, Web Services, and third-party integrations.
Integrate AI APIs and AI-based services into applications.
Develop web components using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
Develop and optimise SQL Server databases, queries, Stored Procedures, and Functions.
Use Entity Framework/EF Core and LINQ for data access.
Participate in code reviews and follow software development best practices.
Use Git, GitHub, and/or Azure DevOps for source control.
Deploy and troubleshoot applications hosted on IIS Server.
Troubleshoot application, API, database, and production issues.
Support and continuously improve IGRIS and other GQS software applications.
Identify and implement current technologies, including AI-enabled solutions, to improve systems and processes.




Prepare and maintain technical documentation and provide regular progress updates.

Preferred candidate profile
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Strong hands-on experience with C# and .NET/.NET Core.
Positive knowledge of ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Core, REST APIs, and Web Services.
Solid knowledge of SQL Server, Entity Framework/EF Core, LINQ, Stored Procedures, and Functions.
Experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
Experience with Git, GitHub, and/or Azure DevOps.
Knowledge of IIS deployment and production support.
Experience with third-party API and AI API integration will be an added advantage.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, debugging, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Candidates with experience in enterprise/business application development will be preferred.
