Key Responsibilities
Design and develop Special Purpose Machines (SPMs) based on customer requirements.
Create 3D models, assemblies, and detailed manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks.
Prepare 2D fabrication and assembly drawings using AutoCAD.
Design machine structures, fixtures, conveyors, and automation mechanisms.
Select and integrate standard mechanical components such as Linear Guides, Ball Screws, Bearings, Gearboxes, Pneumatic Cylinders, Servo Systems, and Motors.
Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) and engineering documentation.
Collaborate with Electrical, PLC, and Controls Engineers for complete machine integration.
Support prototype assembly, testing, machine trials, and commissioning activities.
Resolve design and manufacturing issues while ensuring quality and timely project delivery.

Required Skills
Mandatory Experience in Special Purpose Machine (SPM) Design
Robust proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD
Knowledge of Machine Design, GD&T;, Manufacturing Drawings, and Assembly Design
Experience in Pneumatic Systems, Material Handling, Conveyors, and Automation Equipment
Understanding of manufacturing processes and mechanical component selection
