About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Stitching Master who has robust expertise in women’s ethnic and designer wear . The ideal candidate should have excellent knowledge of garment construction, measurements, fitting, cutting, and finishing, and should be able to understand designs and translate them accurately into finished garments.

Key Responsibilities
Expert stitching and construction of women’s ethnic wear , including suits, kurtas, dresses, Anarkalis, co-ord sets, pants, salwars and other designer silhouettes.
Accurately understand design references, measurements and garment specifications .
Strong knowledge of cutting, pattern understanding, fitting and garment construction .
Work confidently with different fabrics, including silks, velvets, organza, tissue, cottons and delicate/embroidered fabrics .
Ensure excellent fit, fall, finishing and overall garment quality .




Handle embroidered and embellished fabrics carefully without damaging the handwork or embroidery.
Make necessary alterations and fitting corrections when required.
Coordinate with the designer and production team to execute new samples and designs.
Maintain consistency in measurements and finishing across production pieces.
Ensure garments are completed within the required timelines while maintaining quality standards.

Candidate Requirements
Prior experience as a Stitching/Tailoring Master in women’s ethnic or designer wear .
Excellent understanding of Indian garment construction and finishing.
Strong knowledge of measurements, fitting and different body shapes.
Ability to understand a design from a reference image, sketch or sample garment .
Experience handling premium and embroidered fabrics is preferred.
Good attention to detail and a robust sense of garment finishing.
Reliable, responsible and quality-focused.
