Key Responsibilities
Receive incoming materials and verify quantity against purchase orders, invoices, and delivery documents.
Check materials for physical damage and report discrepancies to the Stores In-charge.
Arrange and store materials systematically in designated locations.
Issue raw materials, consumables, tools, and other items to respective departments based on authorized requests.
Maintain proper stock records and update material transactions in the system/register.
Conduct regular physical stock verification and support monthly/periodic inventory counting.
Ensure proper identification, labeling, and bin location of materials.
Follow FIFO/FEFO principles wherever applicable.
Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels and inform the Stores In-charge about shortages.
Prepare and maintain Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), material issue slips, stock registers, and other store documents.
Coordinate with Purchase, Production, Quality, and other departments regarding material requirements.
Ensure proper handling and storage of materials to avoid damage or loss.
Maintain 5S and good housekeeping in the stores area.
Follow company safety procedures and PPE requirements.
Support loading, unloading, shifting, and movement of materials whenever required.
Perform any other stores-related duties assigned by the supervisor.
Required Skills
Basic knowledge of stores and inventory management.
Knowledge of material receiving, issuing, and stock handling.
Basic computer knowledge, especially MS Excel and ERP/HRMS/Inventory software.
Positive communication and coordination skills.
Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
Valuable numerical and organizational skills.
Knowledge of 5S and workplace safety.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
