Librarian – Job Role
Job Title: School Librarian
Manage and maintain the school library, books and learning resources.
Issue and return books and maintain proper library records.
Organize books, reference materials, newspapers and magazines systematically.
Guide students and teachers in selecting suitable books and study materials.
Encourage students to develop regular reading habits.
Maintain a quiet, disciplined and student-friendly library workplace.
Maintain records of current, damaged and missing books.
Manage library inventory and ensure proper care of resources.
Support students and teachers with academic and reference materials.
Organize reading activities, book exhibitions and library programs.
Work Location: In person
