TENDER EXECUTIVE

About the Role

We are looking for a Tender Executive with 1–3 years of hands-on experience in tendering, bidding and commercial documentation , preferably from the EPC, Power, Electrical, Transmission & Distribution or Infrastructure sector .

The candidate will be responsible for managing the tender cycle from chance identification to bid submission, post-bid follow-up and conversion .

Key Responsibilities
Identify and evaluate Government, PSU and Private-sector tenders/RFQs through GeM, CPPP, state/PSU portals and other e-tendering platforms.
Review NIT, RFP, RFQ, BOQ, eligibility criteria, technical specifications and commercial conditions .
Conduct Bid/No-Bid analysis based on technical, financial and commercial eligibility.
Prepare and coordinate tender documentation, compliance checklists, declarations, EMD/BG and supporting credentials .
Coordinate with Project, Engineering, Procurement and Finance teams for BOQ analysis, vendor quotations, costing and rate analysis.




Manage online tender submission and document uploads within deadlines.
Track corrigenda, pre-bid meetings, technical evaluation, price bids, negotiations and tender results.
Follow up on successful bids until LOI/LOA/Work Order stage.
Maintain tender MIS and track prospects through:
IDENTIFY → QUALIFY → ANALYSE → COST → BID → FOLLOW UP → CONVERT
Analyse lost bids and maintain records to improve future bidding decisions.

Required Skills & Experience
1–3 years of practical tendering/bidding experience.
Valuable knowledge of GeM and e-tendering portals .
Experience with Government/PSU tenders will be preferred.
Ability to understand BOQ, tender eligibility, technical specifications and commercial terms .
Basic knowledge of costing, rate analysis and commercial evaluation .
Strong MS Excel and documentation skills.
Excellent coordination, follow-up and deadline-management skills.
High attention to detail and ability to identify tender risks and compliance gaps.
