Responsibilities
Perform general cleaning duties across the office premises, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash disposal
Handle janitorial tasks with attention to sanitation standards and safety protocols
Operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and vacuum cleaners to maintain cleanliness and floor care excellence
Assist with light maintenance tasks, including minor repairs and ensuring facilities are well-kept
Support with heavy lifting and manual handling of supplies or furniture following secure lifting practices
Ensure proper handling of chemical agents used for cleaning by adhering to chemical handling safety procedures
Maintain cleanliness in common areas,
restrooms, and workspaces while following sanitation guidelines
Qualifications
Prior custodial or janitorial experience is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is highly valued
Knowledge of cleaning equipment operation, including floor buffers and industrial cleaning tools
Familiarity with safety protocols related to chemical handling and heavy lifting practices
Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely and efficiently in a busy workplace
Strong work ethic with a focus on cleanliness, safety, and customer service skills
Ability to follow instructions carefully and maintain a high standard of hygiene and sanitation standards
Previous experience in facilities maintenance or industrial cleaning is advantageous
