Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced IBM WebSphere Commerce (WCS) Developer with robust hands-on experience in WCS development, Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and enterprise integrations.
The candidate will be responsible for designing and developing WCS features, customizing WCS services and business logic, and building integrations with enterprise systems such as OMS, payment systems, and Kafka.

Key Responsibilities
Design and develop current features using IBM WebSphere Commerce (WCS).
Customize WCS services, business logic, controllers, commands, and data models.
Develop scalable backend solutions using Java/J2EE.
Work with SQL and relational databases for data retrieval and processing.
Develop and consume REST APIs using Spring Boot.
Implement event-based integrations using Spring Boot and Kafka.




Build and maintain integrations between WCS and enterprise applications such as:
Order Management Systems (OMS)
Payment systems
Other enterprise applications
Design and implement messaging-based integrations using Kafka.
Troubleshoot application and integration issues and perform root-cause analysis.
Participate in application testing, deployment, and production support activities.
Work closely with architects, developers, business teams, and other technical stakeholders.
Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with enterprise development standards.
