Job Description:
Lab Chemist – Solvent Plant (GC machine operator)
Role Overview: We are looking for a Lab Chemist to perform quality testing and support process monitoring across raw materials, fermentation, distillation, dehydration, and finished ethanol production.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct chemical and quality analysis of raw materials, process samples, and finished products. Test purity, moisture, acidity, pH, specific gravity, and other quality parameters. Calibrate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment. Identify and report deviations and support process troubleshooting. * Ensure proper sampling, chemical handling, and laboratory safety.
Ideal Candidate: A detail-oriented chemist with solid analytical skills and knowledge of laboratory testing
