Job Summary The Medical Social Worker Counsellor & Fundraising will provide psychosocial counselling, emotional support, patient advocacy, financial assistance coordination, and fundraising support for cancer patients and their families. The role involves identifying patients requiring financial support, connecting them with NGOs, charitable trusts, CSR organizations and government welfare schemes, and ensuring timely assistance throughout their treatment journey.

Key Responsibilities:
Counsel cancer patients and families on emotional, social and treatment-related concerns.
Assess patients requiring financial assistance and coordinate support.
Liaise with NGOs, charitable trusts, CSR organizations and donors for treatment funding.
Prepare patient case summaries,



documents and funding proposals.
Follow up on financial assistance applications and fund disbursement.
Guide patients regarding government schemes and available welfare programs.
Maintain patient counselling, assistance and fundraising records.
Coordinate with Oncology, Billing, Finance and Administration teams.
Conduct patient welfare and cancer awareness activities.
Ensure confidentiality, empathy and patient-centric support.

Qualification: MSW / MA Social Work. Experience: Hospital/Oncology/NGO/Patient Welfare experience preferred.
