- Plan, supervise and coordinate civil construction and maintenance works.
- Review drawings, BOQs, specifications and project requirements.
- Monitor site activities and ensure work is executed as per approved drawings and standards.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, suppliers and other departments.
- Prepare and monitor work schedules, material requirements and manpower requirements.
- Check measurements, quantities, work progress and contractor bills.
- Ensure proper quality of materials and workmanship.
- Conduct regular site inspections and identify construction issues or deviations.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and applicable statutory requirements.
- Maintain daily site reports, progress reports, measurements and project documentation.
- Monitor project costs and support effective cost control.
- Identify delays, technical issues and risks and report them to management.
- Coordinate inspections, testing and rectification of defective works.
- Ensure proper completion, handover and documentation of projects.
- Perform any other duties assigned by Management related to civil engineering and project activities.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- Relevant experience in civil construction, project execution or site supervision.
- Good knowledge of construction methods, materials and site practices.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and BOQs.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and relevant engineering software.
- Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
- Robust knowledge of quality and safety requirements.
- Ability to manage contractors and site teams effectively.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
