Counter Boy / Counter Staff – Cafe ResponsibilitiesSuitable for: Male or Female candidates
Welcome customers and take food/beverage orders.
Operate POS/billing system and collect cash, UPI and card payments.
Prepare and issue bills accurately.
Coordinate orders with the kitchen and service team.
Pack takeaway and delivery orders properly.
Hand over completed orders to customers/delivery partners.
Maintain the counter, billing area and surrounding space clean.
Check stock of takeaway materials, cups, tissues and other counter items.
Handle customer queries politely and resolve basic complaints.
Maintain accurate cash and transaction records.
Coordinate with the manager regarding shortages, cancellations and refunds.
Follow cafe hygiene, grooming and food-safety standards.
Support opening and closing counter activities.
Preferred: Positive communication, basic computer/POS knowledge, customer-service skills and willingness to work in shifts.
