WE'RE HIRING | ASSISTANT PROFESSORS – PW DIGITAL UNIVERSITY

We are looking for experienced and passionate Assistant Professors to join our academic team for the following programmes:

1. Assistant Professor – BCA & MCA

/n

Domain: Computer Applications / Computer Science

/n

2. Assistant Professor – B.Sc. Data Science & B.Sc. Artificial Intelligence

/n

Domain: Data Science / Artificial Intelligence / Computer Science

/n

Location: Patiala, Punjab

/n

Work Mode: WFH for initial 1–2 months, followed by relocation to Patiala

/n

Eligibility

/n

/n
- Bachelor's degree (B.Sc.) in a relevant/allied field.
/n
- Master's degree (M.Sc. or equivalent) in a relevant/allied field with minimum 55% marks.
/n
- Ph.D. or UGC-NET/SLET/SET qualification in the relevant/allied discipline.
/n
- Candidates must meet applicable UGC eligibility norms.
/n

/n

Experience – Mandatory

/n

/n
- University-level teaching experience is mandatory.
/n




- Relevant teaching experience in Computer Applications / Computer Science / Data Science / Artificial Intelligence as applicable to the programme.
/n
- Candidates with experience in an Online/Digital University will be highly preferred.
/n
- Experience in curriculum development, academic content creation and LMS-based teaching will be an added advantage.
/n

Key Responsibilities

/n

/n
- Develop and review curriculum, SLMs, e-content, assessments and academic resources.
/n
- Conduct live online classes and provide academic support to learners.
/n
- Coordinate course delivery through LMS and monitor learner engagement.
/n
- Contribute to curriculum design, assessments and academic quality initiatives.
/n
- Ensure academic content quality, originality and compliance with applicable UGC requirements.
/n
- Collaborate with academic and faculty teams to enhance course delivery.
/n

Significant

/n

Candidates must be willing to work from home for the initial 1–2 months and relocate to Patiala thereafter.
